Photographer :: Glen E. Friedman, Gallery Retrospective
I had the opportunity to check out the work of photographer Glen E. Friedman this past weekend with Amanda (learn more about the artist "here" and "here" ). His body of work spans multiple decades and includes many famous photos of Run DMC, The Beastie Boys, The Dogtown Z-Boys, as well as many others. The retrospective was held at urban street artist, Shepard Fairey's own gallery, "Subliminal Projects" no less. Amanda and I both bought a book of the artists and luckily also got to meet the man and talk with him for a bit. We could have also met Shepard as he was also in attendance but I hesitated too long and he left before I got a chance to talk with him (sorry Amanda, lol). Anyway, the show will be until the 9th or 10th and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Xmas in San Diego
Spending Xmas in San Diego is always really nice. I didn't get to catch all the people I wanted to see but I did hang out with some I have not seen in years. Of course there were the regulars, which is always nice, and my brother also traveled down from the bay.
Check out the photos for the highlights
