I WANT ONE

No really... this thing is genius. Who do I give my $3.99 to? As seen on Hey Olivia!

HAHAHA.

So I believe this is a casting tape for an Xbox commercial. Needless to say, I don't think this woman got the job, but damn she tried! hahaha. Thanks Anne for the video.

New Photography Website!

I decided to make a website to post all my photography work. Check it out!

Straight Razor :: UPDATE

I found this cutlery shop downtown that specializes in knives and vintage barber gear. A nice woman named "Jennifer" helped me purchase my first straight razor (actually she recommended a straight razor with disposable blades since it will be my first because a real straight razor uses much more expensive materials and the blades are generally reused for years. The cut and technique is exactly the same, but the alternative--what I purchased--is much cheaper. When I "am ready" she suggested only then do I make the upgrade purchase).

I just did my first shave with it.

Cut/Gash count: 9

I have pieces of toilet paper on my face right now holding the blood in. I'll get it down though....

New Things

So beginning this week I am going to start learning how to use a straight razor for shaving. Most of you who know me, know that I am not the burly mountain beard man I hope to be, but I do get my deal of scruff and patchy roughness. Anyway, I gotta find a vintage barber shop to get my fix. Hopefully I don't kill myself with this most deadly of man tools.

Thanksgiving Weekend in San Diego on foot, on bike, and in bars.

I spent my Thanksgiving with some great friends in San Diego and also my mom. We had some much needed hanging out time and I successfully avoided Black Friday. I also went to my first football game and connected with some folks I haven't seen in a awhile. Enjoy the photos. Thanks guys!
